Army Introduction - Tau Empire
Up next we have the Tau forces under Commander O'Ren'Va. As a result of many hard earned victories, Commander O'Ren'Va has been selected to lead the campaign to claim Cardea Valdis in the name of the Greater Good. Preferring to have a conventional Tau force relying on their superior technology and firepower, Ren'Va has chosen not to employ any Kroot during this campaign. Instead, he brings massive firepower and devoted fire warriors to bring death to the unenlightened.

Army Introduction - Space Marines
First up we have the Salamanders 1st Company. Led by their Forgefather Vulkan He'Stan himself, this Salamanders strike force enters our campaign seeking a Relic of Vulkan. He'Stan bears the name of the Salamanders lost Primarch, Vulkan. It is his duty to search for the Relics of Vulkan guided by the Tome of Fire.

Campaign Introduction
Here we go, some background on our upcoming campaign.
On the edge of Tau controlled space sits a cluster of four planets. Many years ago these planets were the battleground of a bloody war between the Dark Eldar and the Raven Guard Space Marine Chapter. The war lasted 4 long years before the Raven Guard companies were destroyed by the seemingly endless number of xenos. Following the conflict, the Dark Eldar left the worlds in pursuit of their next victim.
Idling uninhabited for many years, the Tau now believe that they are entitled to these planets due to their proximity of their growing Empire. Commander O'Ren'Va is placed in charge of claiming these four worlds in the name of the Greater Good, starting with the closest planet, Cardea Valdis. However, it would seem they are not the only ones interested in Cardea. The Salamanders have reason to believe that one of Vulkan's lost relics is located on the planet and have mobilized their forces under Brother Captain T'Sen in an effort to retrieve it. Far from this system, an Ulthwe Eldar Farseer has received mysterious visions encouraging them to destroy both the Tau and the Space Marines. Three mighty armies will soon make planetfall on Cardea Valdis, but who shall lay claim to the world?

WELCOME!
This is a Warhammer 40k blog. My friends and I are about to begin a Warhammer 40k campaign which introduces some new and exciting ideas to the realm of Warhammer. This blog is going to document our campaign. I will be updating this after each phase of the campaign, complete with pictures, results, and battle reports.
